Terry Kallis is Managing Director of Petratherm Limited, an Adelaide based ASX listed geothermal energy explorer and developer. Petratherm has joint ventures with Beach Petroleum and TRUenergy for its Paralana project in the northern Flinders Ranges and has several projects in Spain and has commenced ventures in China. Since joining Petratherm in May 2006, Terry has established Petratherm as a leading company in the geothermal sector. Terry was formerly Chief Financial Officer of ETSA Corporation managing the transmission assets of ElectraNet SA. Terry holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration. Terry is Chairman of the Australian Geothermal Energy Association (AGEA).
Dr Paul Heithersay
PIRSA
Dr Paul Heithersay leads the PIRSA division of Minerals and Energy Resources which manages the state's mineral, gas and petroleum resources on behalf of the people of South Australia. Prior to joining the Public Service in South Australia, Paul spent over 20 years in the mining industry in Australia and Southeast Asia for North Limited and its predecessor Geopeko as Exploration Manager for Australasia, Europe and Africa. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) (University of Adelaide) and a PhD (Australian National University) for his research on the Northparkes porphyry copper and gold deposits.
Mick Wilkes
OZ Minerals
Mick Wilkes is Executive General Manager Operations of OZ Minerals. Mick has 24 years experience in mining operations and project development in Australia, Laos, PNG and the UK. After completing a mining degree at Queensland University, he took a graduate position with Mt Isa Mines, working in the lead zinc operations and development of the Hilton Mine. In 1989 he received a scholarship from the Confederation of British Industry to further develop his mining skills, working in Wales and Yorkshire on underground mine development and shaft sinking. In 1991 Mick returned to Mt Isa and shortly afterwards took a secondement to the MIM’s subsidiary Highlands Gold based in PNG, and spent the next 10 years working on feasibility studies and new mine development. In 2001 he moved to Laos with Oxiana to permit and develop the Sepon Gold Mine, becoming the General Manager Operations of the copper and gold operations. In 2006 he returned to Australia to lead the development of the Prominent Hill copper gold Project for Oxiana.

Mick was the General Manager for Prominent Hill and has been responsible for the feasibility study, construction, commissioning and now the ongoing operations of the Project. He has a Bachelor of Mining Engineering from the University of Queensland and an MBA from Deakin University. Along with his membership on the RESIC board, he is on the Board of the Resource Energy Skills Association (RESA) in South Australia, and the Board of Aboriginal Enterprises in Mining, Energy and Exploration (AEMEE).

Former Senator for South Australia | Former Leader of Australian Democrats
Natasha Stott Despoja is a former Senator for South Australia (1995-2008) and former Leader (and Deputy Leader) of the Australian Democrats, and the longest serving Democrat Senator in the party’s history. She is the youngest woman ever to enter the Australian Federal Parliament. Natasha has made a contribution to a wide range of policy debates including as a spokesperson on higher education, science and biotechnology, Attorney-General’s, privacy, women, work and family. During her political career she also introduced Private Member’s Bills on issues including paid maternity leave, the Republic, genetic privacy and stem cells, and captioning. Natasha is an Honorary Visiting Research Fellow at The University of Adelaide. She writes a column for The Adelaide Advertiser, and does freelance writing and speeches. She is a Director of beyondblue, the Burnet Institute and is a member of the Advertising Standards Board. Natasha lives in Adelaide with husband Ian and their two children Conrad and Cordelia.

Wendy McCarthy AO is currently the Chair of Circus Oz, McGrath Estate Agents, Sydney Community Foundation, headspace, Pacific Friends of the Global Foundation. Previously she held positions at The University of Canberra (Chancellor) 1995-2005, Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) for eight years (Deputy Chair), Australian Bicentennial Authority (General Manager of Marketing and Communications), Adelaide Festival Centre Trust (Trustee), National Better Health Program (Chair), National Trust (Executive Director), Star City (Director), Australian Heritage Commission (Chair), Symphony Australia (Chair), Family Planning Association of Australia (CEO) and Women’s Electoral Lobby (NSW) (Co-founder 1972). Wendy began her career as a secondary school teacher and remains passionate about the power of education. 1989 she was appointed an officer of the Order of Australia for outstanding contributions to community affairs, women's affairs and the Bicentennial celebrations. She was one of the finalists for the 2009 NSW Woman of the Year. Her corporate advisory practice, McCarthy Management, specialises in providing mentors to major corporations and the public sector. For over ten years she has assisted these organisations with issues around diversity, leadership and work life balance. Clients include Citigroup, UBS, National Australia Bank, Qantas, Allens Arthur Robinson, Oroton Group, The Australia Council for the Arts, University of New South Wales.

Director MyBudget | Telstra Business Women of the Year 2007
Tammy May is one of Australia’s leading business women. At age of 22, Tammy established personal budgeting company, MyBudget, following years of witnessing the impact of debt in her first job at a legal firm. The business has since grown into a national success story, with Tammy employing 50 staff, assisting more than 8,000 clients and combining her career with motherhood. In 2007 Tammy was named Telstra South Australian Business Woman of the Year, she was also the Yellow Business Owner Award winner and the Australian Government Business Innovation Award winner. Her recognition in the corporate arena continued in 2008 when Tammy won Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year award for the central region's young entrepreneur. More recently Tammy has expanded MyBudget into Melbourne opening offices in Wheelers Hill and Essendon, with plans to expand into Brisbane in 2010. Based at its national head office in Adelaide, MyBudget assists clients by looking at their whole position, managing their finances and teaches them to break bad financial habits.
